Four colorful label coasters with glossy resin tops on a wood table

How they’re made

I started making coasters in 2017, because beer labels are small works of art and they deserve better than a recycling bin. Every coaster is built by hand, start to finish.

Care and questions

A few tips to keep your coasters looking great for years, plus how pricing and shipping work.

Can I put hot things on them?

Keep very hot items off the resin. Cold and room-temperature drinks are what they’re made for. Hot mugs and pans can mark or soften resin, so use a trivet for those.

Why does my glass stick sometimes?

Cold glasses sweat, and that thin film of water can make a glass cling to any smooth surface. Lift the glass gently, with a slight twist, instead of pulling straight up.

Where should I keep them?

Avoid long exposure to excessive heat, like a hot car or a spot in direct summer sun.

Will they scratch my table?

No. Each coaster has a full cork backing that protects wood and other surfaces.

How do I clean them?

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry. Skip harsh scrubbing or abrasive cleaners.

How does the pricing work?

Coasters are $7 each. Any four are $25, and every coaster after that is $6.25. The older-style travertine coasters are $5 each. When you send a request, I’ll confirm your total in my reply.

How long will my order take?

Made-to-order coasters take about 10 days after your order is finalized, because the resin needs 7 days to cure fully. Coasters in Available now are already made, and coasters marked coming soon are already curing, so both are ready sooner. Shipping comes after that. I ship from the East Coast, and delivery usually takes about 4 to 9 days depending on your address.

How do you ship, and can I pick up?

I ship with tracking by USPS or UPS, whichever costs you less, unless you tell me you prefer one. Shipping is added to your invoice and usually runs about $7 to $11, depending on your address. Local pickup in Alpharetta, GA is also available, and I’ll share the details when we confirm your order.

Can you make a coaster from my label?

Yes, that’s a big part of what I do. Here’s how it works:

  1. Add “my own label” to your request list and attach a photo of the label to the email that opens.
  2. I’ll send you an idea of what it would look like as a coaster.
  3. If you like it, you mail the label to me. I’ll send you the mailing address when we agree.
  4. Once it arrives, I’ll confirm your order and get started. From there, the usual timeline applies: about 10 days, because the resin needs 7 days to cure fully, plus shipping.
